Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to DIY wedding decor on a budget. Here are some tips and tricks to help you create a beautiful wedding without spending a fortune.
Choose a Theme
Choosing a theme for your wedding is a great way to help you stay on budget. A theme can help you narrow down your choices and make it easier to find decorations that fit within your budget. For example, if you choose a rustic theme, you can find decorations like mason jars, burlap, and twine that are relatively inexpensive.
Shop Around
When it comes to wedding decorations, it pays to shop around. You can find great deals on decorations at thrift stores, garage sales, and online. You can also find great deals on decorations at craft stores, such as Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Be sure to check out their weekly sales and coupons to get the best deals.
Make Your Own Decorations
Making your own decorations is a great way to save money. You can make your own centerpieces, bouquets, and other decorations with items you can find at craft stores. You can also make your own decorations with items you already have around the house, such as mason jars, vases, and candles.
Rent Instead of Buy
Renting decorations is another great way to save money. Many wedding rental companies offer a wide variety of decorations at a fraction of the cost of buying them. You can rent everything from chairs and tables to linens and centerpieces.
Reuse Decorations
If you’re having a smaller wedding, you can save money by reusing decorations from other events. Ask your friends and family if they have any decorations they’d be willing to lend you. You can also check out websites like Craigslist and Freecycle to find decorations for free.
Get Creative
When it comes to wedding decorations, it pays to get creative. You can find unique decorations at thrift stores and garage sales, or you can make your own decorations with items you already have around the house. Hoping to plan my budget wedding and I've been thinking about the arch BUT! with my own cut flowers😍 now how to put real flowers on the arch🤔

Love the arbor idea, I am definitely going to do this for my backyard wedding!
Is the pex pipe good for outdoors ? I would really love to order them but they are too expensive.
The. Ingest question always is, what are you going to do with those “cute” items after ? Exactly, trash. It’s not worth all these cheap decors.
Wedding planner here… love these projects, but please, when doing seating charts, do them by alpha-order, not by table! Your guests all know their names (hopefully), but they have no idea of their seat assignments. So when it’s done by table, they have to skim through all the tables to find their name & it can cause a bottleneck!
I had a very intimate wedding for $500. That covered the judge, Park rental, photographer, Cake, flowers. Our friends were witnesses for us. We all went to a lovely restaurant for a nice dinner. Next day hubby and I flew to Cancun for a 4- day honeymoon at a reasonable priced resort. The marriage has lasted 33 years and we are still going strong. It's all about the marriage. Not the wedding, which is just one day that goes by in a blur.

Those glue sticks definitely came in blue, purple and white. You are not tripping.

Brilliant! You ladies have done it again! Love all the ideas!
Gosh, I remember the glue in the stick being white, nm blue or purple! Nice job on the wedding diy.
I loved these! Might actually incorporate this into my wedding!!! 🙂 thanks for the video!!!
I did a single card mid size with heart cutout , a small bow with pearl a magnet on back. This made it easy for it to be placed on your refrigerator or note board. My quest loved it and said it was a great idea to remind them.
It was later used on many of the save the date cards.
IMO for backdrop part it’s best to put the arrangements towards the bottom so it doesn’t distract from the brides face and dress
More from instax!!
Literally using all of these ideas <3
'93 born.. I remember the blue glue 💙
