Been doing it coming up on a year. It's awesome, the health benefits are real! I recommend it to everyone. Also the man was rite, you can totally cheat just a little and it's completely doable. For me, I avoid processed sugar and processed carbs like the plague. Reserving Sunday's for a cheat day has been a good strategy. Though, I don't often take myself up on it. But, if I want some ice cream or something I can have that on Sunday. A lot of us don't do dairy. I allow small amounts of unsweetened dairy. A palm full of cheese here and there sometimes, okay sure. A pat of butter on occasion, no big deal. A glass of milk once every couple of weeks, seriously. It's been life changing.

The majority of the ancient world did not live in caves. Early humans lived in AFRICA where there was an incredible diversified environment. Today's foods are hardly of the same nutritional value as the African ancestors of which we all descend. This was 5 minutes of my time totally wasted.
Cavemen did NOT have "healthy well-balanced" diets–they ate what they could when they could–mostly nuts and berries, hardly any veg (they weren't farmers after all), and meat only when they could hunt it and kill it (certainly not daily). Also, those stupid shoes have been shown to be really bad for your feet. I don't really see what cavemen have to do with this diet at all-this is more Vegan with meat inclusion than anything else.
Sure makes you feel great, lose all your extra weight and live better in my opinion. Helps if you hunt, garden and REALLY like this lifestyle. Try it, or don't, we don't care.
