Slow Cooked Beef Stew

This slow cooked beef stew is a classic comfort food that is sure to please. Start by heating a large pot over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 chopped onion. Cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Next, add 1 pound of cubed beef stew meat and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned, about 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of red wine and cook until the liquid is reduced by half.

Add 2 cups of beef broth, 1 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1 bay leaf, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 1 hour.

Add 1 cup of diced carrots, 1 cup of diced celery, and 1 cup of diced potatoes. Simmer for another hour, or until the vegetables are tender.

Finally, stir in 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with crusty bread and enjoy!

Slow Cooked Chicken Curry

This slow cooked chicken curry is a flavorful and easy meal that is sure to please. Start by heating a large pot over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 chopped onion. Cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
