Everything I DIYed for My Wedding 💍 // Cricut Wedding Projects + DIY Wedding Decor Ideas
When it comes to planning a wedding, there are so many details to consider. From the dress to the venue, the flowers to the food, it can be overwhelming to think about all the little things that need to be taken care of. One of the best ways to make your wedding unique and special is to add some DIY touches. I recently got married and I decided to take on some DIY projects to make my wedding extra special. Here, I’ll share some of the projects I did and some ideas for other DIY wedding projects.
DIY Wedding Invitations
The first project I tackled was making my own wedding invitations. I used my Cricut machine to cut out the invitations and then used a calligraphy pen to write out the details. I also used some scrapbook paper to make the envelopes. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end. The invitations turned out beautiful and I was so proud to send them out to my guests.
DIY Wedding Decorations
The next project I took on was making my own wedding decorations. I used my Cricut machine to cut out some paper flowers and then used them to decorate the tables. I also used some fabric to make some banners and signs for the reception. I also used some string lights to add some extra sparkle to the room. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end. The decorations turned out beautiful and I was so proud of how it all came together.
DIY Wedding Favors
The last project I took on was making my own wedding favors. I used my Cricut machine to cut out some paper boxes and then filled them with candy and other treats. I also used some ribbon to tie them up and make them look extra special. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end. The favors turned out beautiful and I was so proud to give them to my guests.

Quick question! Im making my invitations only using one card and wax seal on the inside of the invitation. How did you mail yours? Did you use non machinable stamps? Thankyou💕 loved your wedding and it was on my birthday!
Oh this is so great!! I would love that invitation template! This aesthetic is perfect 😩
Where did you find the items for your "hangover kits"? Very cute idea.

This came out beautiful, now I wished I’ve gone neutral
Wow, I have been asked to make my son and his Fiance's wedding invitations. I am so new to this, I have 50 to make and will be doing them on my own. Congratulations on your wedding.

Wow, I have your bridesmaid's proposal boxes saved ON MY COMPUTER for months (!) and I've just got your video in recommended 😀
WOW!!! 👍🏻
@amymakesthat I live in CT and am getting married here in CT in September, looking for a shuttle company myself, can you recommend what company you used!?
Also can you share your list for yourself and wedding day of? I think it'll be helpful tool!
Please make a template🥲🥰 Congrats Amy!!!❤
OMG! We'll have the same wedding date. I had to do a double-take. My fiancé and I will get married this year. We DIYed our invitations and only spend around $130 – it was glorious and we got soooooo many compliments on them. So now I'm trying to see what else I think I can do myself and save some money on. Therefore, thanks for this video! It's very much so appreciated.
I've photographed well over 100 weddings and I just have to say "you killed it"…. Nice job, you saved at least 10K, you worked your arse off for it but you crushed it. Most that have this kind of detail pay big money for a full time wedding planner to do it all for them.
I did something similar 😊
This was so helpful thank you
Hi I would love to know where you got your bridesmaid bags from? 🥰 everything is so beautiful x
STUNNING!!!
Love it all! Did you print the invites and cut them out yourself with the circuit? Or did you get them printed via Canva? Also, what kind of paper did you use for them? I can’t decide if I want to use a linen card stock, or just a plain white card stock. Thank you so much! All of your videos have been SO helpful during my wedding planning process 🙂
I love seeing a fellow NYer doing all this stuff. I don't see alot of NY crafters. You did amazing
How did you create a QR code for your RSVP's?
Thank you so much !! Your wedding was beautiful ! God bless you and your husband
love the photo backdrop – is there a tutorial or somethign you followed?
Amazing, can I ask did you dye your sola wood flowers?
Oh wow, Amy, your wedding was absolutely beautiful! 😍 You have such a kind, genuine soul. Thank you for always giving us such great cricut tutorials. My mom was alive for my first wedding in 2003. However, I am now a widow, and my mom passed away 6 years ago from lung cancer. So she won't be on earth for when I remarry someday, so I really felt that. I loved how you honored both your mom's during your ceremony! ❤️
I’m so glad you mentioned time. I don’t think people understand how much time it takes to make stuff, especially if you’re doing a lot of it.
I’m doing my friend’s daughter’s graduation. I started last year. It’s going well because I started early enough to finish certain projects.
Who wouldn’t love any style wedding? I love the Bohemian style you did. You did an amazing job.
