How to Ensure Your Baked Goods are Fully Cooked
Baking is a great way to make delicious treats for yourself and your family. But it can be tricky to make sure that your baked goods are cooked all the way through. If you don’t bake your goods long enough, they can be undercooked and unappetizing. On the other hand, if you bake them too long, they can become dry and crumbly. Here are some tips to help you make sure your baked goods are cooked all the way through.
Check the Temperature
The best way to make sure your baked goods are cooked all the way through is to use a thermometer. Insert the thermometer into the center of the baked good and check the temperature. Most baked goods should reach an internal temperature of at least 180°F. If the temperature is lower than this, then the baked good is not cooked all the way through.
Check the Color
Another way to tell if your baked goods are cooked all the way through is to check the color. Most baked goods should be golden brown when they are done. If the baked good is still pale or light in color, then it is not cooked all the way through.
Check the Texture
The texture of the baked good can also be a good indicator of whether or not it is cooked all the way through. If the baked good is still soft and doughy, then it is not cooked all the way through. If the baked good is firm and slightly springy to the touch, then it is cooked all the way through.
Adjust the Cooking Time
If you find that your baked goods are not cooked all the way through, then you may need to adjust the cooking time. Most recipes will give you an approximate cooking time, but this can vary depending on the size and type of baked good. If you find that your baked goods are not cooked all the way through, then you may need to increase the cooking time.

Yum. No joke, I'd eat the whole cake in one sitting with same nice tea.
I heard that if there is some tiny bits of soft batter it's perfectly baked leaving the residual heat to bake it completely compared to whatever knife or toothpick you use coming out dry
My mum actually used this hack
The cake looks dry…🥲
That reminds me of those cake molds from the infomercials forever ago where you can make a filled cake or something like that. I love this😂
I use a metal kebab skewer 👌🏼
Kitchen Cake Broom! You need one of these! Mine has lasted for almost 30 years and still has a lot of pieces left for which to test cakes!

I don't bake but my grandma used something similar to a long toothpick, you know the one where you can stick it through meat and/or vegetables and grill them. I recall it working fine, you could also see if it came sort of dry or not. Doesn't a knife leave a cut through the layer?
I usually use a skewer for that😅
Omg why I have I never thought I’d this?!
You could use a kabob skewer
