Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, and of course, food. Every year, I look forward to the traditional Thanksgiving dinner that I have grown up with. My ideal Thanksgiving dinner is one that is filled with all of the classic dishes that I have come to love, as well as some new additions that I have added over the years.
The centerpiece of my ideal Thanksgiving dinner is the turkey. I prefer to roast my turkey in the oven, as it gives it a nice, crispy skin and juicy, flavorful meat. I like to season my turkey with a combination of herbs and spices, such as rosemary, thyme, garlic, and sage. I also like to stuff my turkey with a mixture of breadcrumbs, celery, onions, and carrots.
In addition to the turkey, I also like to serve a variety of side dishes. My favorites include mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, and cranberry sauce. I like to make my mashed potatoes with butter, cream, and garlic for a rich and creamy flavor. For the stuffing, I like to use a combination of breadcrumbs, celery, onions, and herbs. The green beans are usually cooked with bacon and onions for a savory flavor. And the cranberry sauce is always a must-have for me.
I also like to serve a variety of appetizers and desserts. For appetizers, I like to serve a variety of cheeses, crackers, and dips. For desserts, I like to make a variety of pies, such as pumpkin, apple, and pecan. I also like to make a variety of cookies and cakes.
