What would you for with white furniture?
I can’t stand subway tiles 🙁 I tried liking them because everyone says they are timeless . Lol . What other tiles are timeless ?
Excellent as usual. Thank you, Kristen!
Love all your videos Kirsten. You recommend choosing a mid- brown floor colour. It’s so hard to tell when you are in the store because there are so many to choose from. Could you please recommend a few good vinyl ones. Thanks so much!
My home is over 200 years old and I have a collection of antiques and family heirlooms. This video is the most valuable one I have found to help me blend classic design with some carefully chosen updates! The only thing I wouldn't use in my historic home would be the subway tile, and thats just a personal preference.
the best to watch is you ever need is to redesign you place and make it absolutely beautiful btw I just love your home it looks incredible💜 just like the relationship between me and my best friend who I miss so much
Mantap keren sungguh kerennn,
Thanks ever so much for this. Janky, tacky, ephemeral, hot-garbage trendy fashion fads are a dime a dozen on YouTube, but classic style is hard to come by.
Is there a timeless paint color other than white? I'm tired of white, and gray walls.
Hi Kristen I'm from France and I really love and enjoy your videos😊 I'm a big fan yours 💖
So so enjoyable and enlightening as always .. love your videos
Thank you. Great ideas to take into my new projects!!
I once had a kitchen with tumbled marble subway tile backsplash, honed black granite counters, and cream colored cabinets. I thought it was a beautiful combination, and timeless as well. Another kitchen I had featured marble countertops on neutral brown cabinets. It was a rental, so the marble counters were not perfect, but that actually contributed to their beauty.
How to choose the colour and style of counter stools for open plan kitchen?
After much trial and error in a home remodel, Sherwin Williams Origami White was our classy winner. It's a neutral creamy white. Softer than a harsh white. Looks good under a variety of light color temperatures.
I just love this channel and I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve been sharing a lot of videos to my Pinterest board Budget Chic Decor. (The account is in the name of Cheryl-Ann📌) your uploads are amazing and you range of DIY and just Chic Decor is fantastic!
Thank you lovely lady.🙏💖
Good to keep in mind…good video.
Can you please cover ceilings – paint, tile, etc. I have kitchen with square bulkhead in work area but not in table area which is same size.
This info was very helpful that I will use. Thanks!
After renting for so many years, I will never paint a room white now that I own. I’d rather repaint when I get tired of a color. But that’s just me 🤷♀️
Great tips thank you! I just gutted the bathroom and went with black, white , and a nod to vintage…love it! Now selling the house and replicating the bathroom in the new house, which has a bigger bathroom so it's more fun to design. Can't wait to finish the project!
Happy to say I have everything you have mention. I feel like I hit a home run!!! Holli in Texas😅
I have fallen in love with your design style and your videos! If you ever want to design a goth modern home on a budget, my house is up for grabs! Haha Keep up the great videos!🖤
Love ❤❤❤ Thanks!
Thanks Kristen! I love your videos. Wondering.. Can you paint backsplash tile? Any suggestions for this?

..Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places

as always good, useful information.
Deeply grateful for this video. We are currently remodelling our house and I was not sure of the white pain colour, floors and subway tile I choose. After watching the video where all my choices were mentioned as timeless I am so relieved and got reassurance that I am on the right path. Thanks again, very informative video.

This was a fantastic video! I am definitely moving towards classic timeless home styling. I have spent so much money with trends only to have to redo so many rooms in my home because the trends go out of style and I do not like a dated look to my home so thank you so much for this video
