Vegetarian Chili
Vegetarian chili is a great budget meal prep option. It’s packed with protein, fiber, and vitamins, and it’s easy to make in bulk. To make vegetarian chili, you’ll need a can of black beans, a can of kidney beans, a can of diced tomatoes, a can of corn, a bell pepper, an onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and salt. Saute the onion and bell pepper in a large pot, then add the garlic and spices. Add the beans, tomatoes, and corn, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and some shredded cheese.

Add some black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes, and season with chili powder, cumin, and salt. Once the rice is cooked, assemble the burrito bowls by adding the rice, vegetables, and toppings of your choice. Some great topping options include shredded cheese, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream.

these recipes look amazing, I don't see where the budget friendly part is tho? my current food budget is about $4 per day, witch is the highest food budget I have ever had and I would not call myself poor. spending $9-12 per day per person on food is insane to me. especially for things like that breakfast that's extremly low calorie and would for sure leave me hungry.
guess where you should store it? yep, "in the fridge"
Perfect when it comes to budget and modified diets!
This all looks really good but the portion sizes seem really tiny for some of these meals

I made the maple mustard tahini dressing last night, and once again, you are correct that this is to be drizzled, poured, and dipped on EVERYTHING😂 After dressing a huge "kitchen sink" salad, there was not a drop left as this bowl of heaven was then used as a dip for the fish. I've already sent the link to my besties as a must try. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤

Got to use those broccoli stalks girl!! Shave the outside fibrous part off and cut into rounds about 1/8thin thick so they'll cook at the same speed as the florets. 💯
Fun fact: Damp a paper towel and place it next to your onion. It absorbs the fumes that make our eyes water as it searches for the first wet thing to come into contact with. 😃

Budget meal prep is really what I need living on SS
I think this has the capacity to change my life. I have ADHD and have trouble following recipe videos and healthy lifestyles because they never really show how to create all the recipes at once in a way that seems feasible for busy people, or people who have a hard time visualizing things and prepping, but i could see myself making these things. THANK YOUUUU
I love the strawberry chia jam ❤️

Hiii! I just came across your channel, and I tried thé chickpeas. But I don’t buy canned chickpeas. So I let the dried ones sit for 24h and I directly roasted them. Should I have cooked them in water before ? Because they are a bit to “crunchy” and they were in the oven just for 20min.
Thanks !
oh wow, looks so yummy!! I think I'll be making all of these. $3/serving is not really a budget meal in my household, almost bordering to a splurge, but I 'm pretty sure that where I live (UK) most of these ingredients are a lot cheaper so this seems doable still! Thanks for the ideas!
