Bathroom Remodel Under $500
Remodeling a bathroom can be a daunting task, especially when you’re on a tight budget. But with a little creativity and some elbow grease, you can transform your bathroom into a beautiful and functional space without breaking the bank. Here are some tips for remodeling your bathroom on a budget of $500 or less.
Choose Affordable Materials
When it comes to remodeling on a budget, the materials you choose can make a big difference. Look for affordable options like laminate countertops, vinyl flooring, and ceramic tile. These materials are durable and easy to install, and they won’t break the bank.
Paint the Walls
A fresh coat of paint can do wonders for a bathroom. Choose a light, neutral color to make the space feel larger and brighter. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even add a pop of color with an accent wall.
Replace the Fixtures
Replacing the fixtures in your bathroom is a great way to give it a fresh look. Look for affordable options like chrome or brushed nickel faucets and shower heads. You can also replace the toilet seat and the cabinet hardware for a more modern look.
Add Storage
Adding storage to your bathroom is a great way to make the most of the space. Look for affordable options like over-the-toilet shelves, wall-mounted shelves, and baskets. These can help you keep your bathroom organized and clutter-free.
Update the Lighting
Updating the lighting in your bathroom can make a big difference. Look for affordable options like wall sconces, pendant lights, and recessed lighting. These can help you create a warm and inviting atmosphere in your bathroom.
DIY Projects
If you’re feeling handy, you can tackle some DIY projects to save money. Look for easy projects like painting the cabinets, replacing the hardware, and installing a new mirror. These projects can help you save money and give your bathroom a fresh look.

Love the countertop, sink, and faucet!
what about when you later down the road want to clean the tile and add for example scrubbing bubbles. Will the paint more than likely come off?
Looks great! The corner mirrors are throwing off your design though.
Looks Great!

I have a small bathroom similar to this and I absolutely love what y'all did. Very nicely done!!
Did you used oil paint for bathrooms tiles ? Details please 😊
Turned out great. Didn't think I wouold like the brick paneling but it works there. Thanks for the info about the counter top. Thats a great solution to a new counter without ripping out the old one.
Such a great idea!!!! I am glad I found this video. I am going to be redoing some bathrooms in my house and would have ripped the existing counter off the vanity. Now I know to leave it on and get a thin piece of wood and do a trim piece. This bathroom makeover looks amazing
Can't understand why people put carpet in a bathroom 🤦🤦🤦🤦 in all my life other than this video I saw 1 home which had carpet in a bathroom and it was " white" carpet….😏😏😏 Great job with the Reno!!!!
Too many different surfaces.

The bathroom looks so warm and cozy I will def be doing this in my upcoming project
The materials you chosen, the brick, shiplap and wood elements just work so well together to look authentic.
OMG – I want to scream 😱 😭 I'm having such a hard time removing the metal strips from my vanity. In this video 📹 your husband popped the strips out with ease. Help!! Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you remove the strips?

Hey good evening I have just one question. What did you use for the edge of the vanity countertop? Also, what is the thickness of that pine wood edge?
Awesome..makes life easier
Simple, sweet & serene. Loved it. Good teamwork guy's, great job ❤
What was the type of wood you used for the countertop?
Now it looks so cold, grimy and uninviting. Like some abandoned apartment house in NYC.
Absolutely incredible for such a tiny shoestring budget. I’ve been doing DIY remodels for like 40+ years. I’ve done similar things when doing renovations for resale. Yep, I put that stinky stuff on a 70’s Formica sink top..incredible difference but the smell!! My only difference of opinion would be leaving the corian window sill which I like and put in my own house. Great job!
What kind of wood was used for the countertop? What was the finish put on top?
I'm going to save this video for my landlord. So he can hire somebody to have my bathroom look like this. It's a 50-year old farmhouse and I don't think the bathrooms ever been changed out and I'm sure if he took the vinyl shower wall out you find black mold.
Beautiful!!!!!!!!!
Vinegar and Dawn dish soap mixed together in a bottle. Spray and scrub, gets rid of the scum. You won’t regret! Your bathroom makeover is beautiful!
This is beautiful 💞 Good job guys
Omg, this is so helpful!!! Thank you!!!
