I think a lot of people use Japanese & Scandinavian mix (which I think is called Japandi) or Scandinavian style mixed with american farm, beach house or other styles which is why they often say Scandinavian inspired bc they are very aware of that part of the design
Maybe that is my Swedish side coming out that I also hate the idea of leggings in public. They aren't clothes! And they aren't your Sunday best meant for church!
The speaker has glottal fry at the end of her sentences. An otolaryngologist could help with that.

"Actual Clothes".. that is your judgement, clothes are clothes

Love my 83 yr old original plank floors! They can be sanded down w. a rental machine to perk up after decades or wear. No need to replace! Money for other things…like building a greenhouse for growing food.
In Canada I have been shocked at how much STUFF renters have including luxury items like televisions & all kinds of music, games etc. And pets! But for emergencies they don't have several months of rent set aside or dental money etc. And when they have to move…stuff ends up in the trash cus they can't even afford a moving company. And often leave behind sneaky damage from posters etc that they attached to the walls, doors. And filthy ovens, fridges etc. My mother always said "buy things ONCE & take care of them so that you can buy a nice well built home, & a cottage or little farm to DIY to make life worth living"
Is it easy to find work in Sweden if you apply for a job while you are in the Philippines?
I have a king size bed I charge with three dogs. But I live in America and are bedrooms are huge, not like Sweden, like closets.
Can you please show the images much longer? That‘d be lovely ❤
I entirely agree with the keeping your home clean part. However, it always strikes me as odd how people often talk and think about "high quality" with regard to Sweden, yet overlook all the cheap crap and clutter IKEA pumps out and sells by the truckload.
I just found your channel, and it’s exactly what I needed right now in my life. I’m currently buying a house and your tips are so precious! The only thing is that high quality and long lasting products (especially for the floor) are very expensive. For the floor only I would need to spend over 5k euros to get the material 😮
Great video – highly informative and beautifully presented. I'm intending to use it during my next lesson which is on…. you guessed it…. SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN 🙂. Thank you a lot!
Brilliantly explained!!! Thank you!
"Everything white." White is my favorite color and this is a dream come true. I like a simple, clean, organized space with serene colors. This is everything my husband hates and opposite my very colorful Mexican culture. 😅 Needless to say, this has been a source of contention while trying to decorate my home.
Amazing 🎉 thank you keep it going 🎉
How do you clean and prevent stains (like spilled food) on unfinished wood floors?
I might not understand what you said… Did you literally said to rub white soap on the wooden floor?
I love this kind of style. I feel so overwhelmed by patterns and clutter and various colors. All of which are in my home.
I love the Scandinavian Vibe, but no patterns…that’s like Kim Kardashian home. I’d enjoy visiting, but I’d hate to live without lots of color and pattern in my home. Then again I come from California where it’s sunny nine months out of the year. No, Sunny 12 months out of the year with an occasional cloudy day
