Paleo food are for O blood (positive & negative) types.
Can you eat veggie pasta or protein pasta?
I am so so so so SO happy that you emphasise that the diet (in this case paleo) will not work for everybody, and that you shouldn't feel ashamed about it.
Veganism used to be a way of life, but nowadays it's just become a cult.😞
THANK YOU for being honest and positive.
Never understood why dairy is excluded. We’ve been consuming animal milk for at least 10,000 years.
And the butter and ghee doesn’t make sense within the context of this exclusion
This is so informative. Thank you so much 🙌🏾🤗
I'm doing Paleo because I have SIFO … 😢🥺🥺🥺
Paleo enabled me to lose 10 pounds in 2 months. I switched to Keto and lost 25 lbs in 5 weeks! I might toggle between the 2?
When I started doing this, at first I just wanted to lose weight. But then something strange happened. I had had a loss of feeling in my fingertips for many years. Twenty or so, I stopped eating processed sugar and processed carbs, didn't even know at that time that it was called anything. By the third day I started getting feeling back. That's what has made me keep going. It was altogether to obvious that eating like this is awesome for my health. I went from 248 pounds down to 215. I would say I fall into the hybrid categories, meaning I do allow small amounts of unsweetened dairy. Mainly a bit of cheese and sometimes I use butter. A small milk as a drink sometimes. But that's not often. I avoid grains and sugar like the plague. I have a bit of alcohol, but I'm cautious about it and avoid anything sweet. I'm not a sadist after all. In total I think this video is a great general overview. Lots of veggies, veggies at the heart, spot on. I tried vegetarian at one point. I couldn't do it, I was literally always hungry. For me, I need that good quality protein to make it work. Like, if I have veggies with some steak, I can go all day on that. It's about avoiding overly stimulating the insulin response. If I avoid carbs and sugar I don't get hungry. So, I don't need to eat as much or as often.
How can chicken eggs be paleo?
My biggest challenge with paleo vs keto is the allowance of honey and maple syrup and fruits. It can sometimes be a slippery slope for me because fruit is a convenient grab and go that replaces fats and protein and messes with my blood sugar (I’m not diabetic). I am a big believer of high fat low carb but I’m also not convinced that fruits and veggies in the right season and quantities is bad. I’m confident that while ruminants and fats are essential for optimal health, the addition of some plants sometimes is how our ancestors ate.
Thank you, this has been extraordinarily helpful!
I always get so bloated 😩 so I'm gonna try this…. and see if it helps
Keto diet
The only food item I have dillicult cutting out is dairy.

I used to get bloated even drinking water yuck ! Even my left side of my intestines used to hurt untill little by little i started The Paleo diet. Now i can tolerate 1 cup of bran flakes with almond milk and organic stevia on my coffee. When everything was intolerable. Blessings 🕎
Love it ❤ I only eat 1 cup of bran flakes for breakfast with almond milk. And from 235lbs now 120 and I do the Paleo diet. I use organic Stevia and gluten free bread 1 slice daily or Sola bagel half of one.
What about all the sugar in fruit. Does that not cause inflammation? I have just been diagnosed with polymyalgia and inflammation is really bad.
I thought paleo focused rather a lot on proteins…?
I’m starting to pay attention to what I eat. I’ve did a little research and realized that I should be eating for my blood type. And my type is also similar to the paleo. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Very practical info. Great
Thank you for your channel and advice. I work out 6x a week, 2 hours a day, with a bodybuilder focus. But I am still carrying around 20 to 30 pounds of visceral fat and picked up a VERY bad habit of having almost an entire bottle of Bourbon over the weekends with Coke. All that sugar and high fructose corn syrup was killing my gains. I have stopped all alcohol and the three cans of Coke I would have over the weekend. I know that is probably not a lot of Coke for an average American.. but for someone like me that has a family history of diabetes and high blood pressure, it is not a smart path for me to have continued on. Sorry for the long post, but thank you for what you do!
What you can eat on a paleo diet:
Meat
Potentially dangerous/lethal berries
And you have to find/grow/kill it yourself. You want a caveman diet? Have a caveman diet.
Why no legumes? I still find this confusing, some foods are excluded but then are allowed or maybe. I can't eat raw fruit or veg, gluten or dairy with my IBD so still looking for a low fatweight loss diet that suita me. Paleo sounds interesting but just can't wrap my head around the rules.
i am doing my own version of it avoinding nightshades. i eat mostly beef, beef liver, eggs, sea salt, lettuce, carrots, celery and occasional berries. i drink water with electrolytes, coconut water, water with acv and lemon plus lemon ginger tea. i feel so miserable if i eat other things that it is easy to follow what i can digest. i fast often and i feel even better when i don't eat.
👍
What is better for miomas? Keto or paleo? Thank you 🙏🏼
I'm new to dieting and what I thought I did was keto, it was actually paleo. So I think I'm going to stick with this diet rather than keto. Thank you for this helpful video ❤️
Great information and presentation. I loved the 6 points and succinct format. Also, your transparency regarding your eating triggers makes you such an authentic person willing to help. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this I would definitely do it my way 🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿
If a dairy product like milk is turned into curd ,it becomes a probiotic food so good for the gut ,then cottage cheese made from souring of milk is good source of calcium ,dairy products re great if consumed in moderation and in different manners like an Indian desert called kheer is made by thickening of milk by continuous stirring ,garnished with dry fruits great for bones ,its so tasty ,i think one should ve dairy products as a must in daily consumption and not go overboard which applies to other food items also
Thanks for this video, it was very informative
Just had my cholesterol tested after being on keto last 4 months and my cholesterol is 288. So, I’m going to go paleo.
Paleo seems perfect for me . I'm intolerant to wheat dairy soy and egg, so my gut is completely wrecked . Even grains effect me . I'll eat sushi or porridge and I get the worst headaches and bloat . I think paleo needs to be talked about more. And spread around the dietitian community so that people aren't eating sandwichs for lunch every day . 🤦🏻♀️
I watched a lot of Paleo explanation videos, and this video is my favorite.
What’s the scoop about alcohol? I need my 2 glasses of Pino Grigio nightly. Thanks
I am going to give this a try. Thanks for the advice for getting started.
What is your Autiomune disease?
Thanks Kerry. Excellent presentation.
That coconut tree light in background ❤️
