Mom Hopes Baby’s Co-Sleeping Death Warns Others
The tragic death of a baby due to co-sleeping has left a mother devastated and hoping that her story will help to warn other parents of the dangers of co-sleeping. The mother, who wishes to remain anonymous, was devastated when her baby died in her arms after co-sleeping with her. She is now speaking out in the hopes that her story will help to prevent other parents from making the same mistake.
Co-sleeping is a practice in which a baby sleeps in the same bed as their parents. It is a practice that has been around for centuries and is still practiced in many cultures around the world. While it can be beneficial in some cases, it can also be dangerous if not done properly.
The mother in this case had been co-sleeping with her baby for several months. She had taken all the necessary precautions, such as making sure the baby was on its back and not covered by blankets or pillows. However, one night the baby rolled over and became wedged between the mattress and the wall. The mother was unable to free the baby and it tragically died in her arms.
The mother is now speaking out in the hopes that her story will help to warn other parents of the dangers of co-sleeping. She is urging parents to be aware of the risks and to take all necessary precautions when co-sleeping with their babies. She also wants parents to be aware of the signs of suffocation and to seek medical attention immediately if they suspect their baby is in distress.
The mother is also advocating for more research into the risks of co-sleeping. She believes that more research is needed to better understand the risks and to help parents make informed decisions about whether or not to co-sleep with their babies.

Don't co sleeping 😪 especially if u are heavy sleeper or he might slip & fell
Ki
I can imagine his mother loved him very very much to the point that she would never lose her cute little son off from her own eyes. He's very cute🚼😍
Sorry for her loss but it is 100% preventable. Children can co-sleep with proper precautions. They have bed cribs.
Obviously there is an issue with babies alone in crib also 🙄 I just don't sleep 😴 sux but I can't sleep anyway because I'm always watching over him
My husband is a nurse, and this morning a baby came in dead from co-sleeping so.. dont do it..
studies show that cosleeping is actually SAFER than leaving your baby in a crib. "experts" shouldn't be telling us mothers to not sleep with our babies, they should be telling us how to do it safely. what's with the obsession of trying to get moms to not bed share?
I still have no idea how this baby died.
What about those special cribs attached the parents's bed? Those with a small space for the adult's hand to touch the baby?
I hate it when the newborn babies die literally.👎🏻
My baby co-sleeps with us and is just fine. You elevate them higher than you on pillow to prevent rolling on them
There are strict safety rules for bedsharing. If you're not comfortable and not following the safety rules then yes it's dangerous… do research on how to bedshare safely and choose for yourselves
Crazy tho that in Japan it's culturally normal to bed share & they have the lowest SIDs & infant morality rates! Hmmm… Many factors contribute to UN SAFE bed sharing. The news just shames the practice of bed sharing & rarely reveals the actual CAUSE. Educate yourself before you give power to these media clowns.
my son died in the bed with me also June 2 2006 I woke up and found him not breathing
This is a tragedy, but when done safely and properly, co-sleeping is safe and has many biological benefits for both mother and child.
I just lost my baby last week by co sleeping. he was 6 weeks old. I found him and I will absolutely never forget his face and the guilt that I feel. this is very serious please please never co sleep with your child. you could live with the same regret and guilt I do.
This is such bullshit. You do know there's a thing Called SIDS!!! They never mentioned if the mom rolled on him or there was a pillow to his face. It sounds more like SIDS.
So my mom comes from Labe, Guinea, in Africa. In her community you almost always sleep with the babies next to mom. My mom slept in the same bed with her mom until she was SIXTEEN. My mom had us two younger kids sleep in the same bed with her until I was THIRTEEN, my little brother was ten. Older brother was kicked out at age four to make room for us.
We never had a crib. And hey! None of us are dead.
Vaccines cause this too. Nobody reports this. Monitors should be sent home with every newly vaccinated baby. I bet parents had nothing to do with this. They should check and see if the baby just had vaccines. I feel it was vaccines. It's always the missed cause, they try and always blame the parent, when lethargy and respiratory depression are a vaccine side effect. The CDC overloads tiny babies with toxic vaccines and then tries and blames everything else. VIDS, is a vaxxed infant death syndrome.
Of course all you stupid ass biased co sleepers are looking for another reason to blame it on.
This is a load of croc. I am SO SORRY for this tragedy but research continues to show that when done intentionally cosleeping is the very safest way to sleep with your baby.
wiat… I'm 10 I sleep in my mums bed!will I die?!
sorry angela
No offense but I've read a full on article… and then watched a video. All they said is the baby suffocated… but I was more on looking for a specific reason in her case. Did the bay roll over? Did a pillow get placed on her face? I admit to sleeping with my child. (She is 4 years old). But we sleep with her too when she was already too big for the crib we can afford.
Both of my kids co sleep with me but one thing for sure I am a very light sleeper. There are more stories of babies dying by sleeping in a crib. I guess as a parent check which is suitable for you and the baby especially if you know you're a heavy sleeper.
would have been nice if they mentioned at all WHY babies can suffocate in bed with you. did she roll on top of him? did the blanket cover his face? did he end up laying face down on the bed? what happened?????
They don't talk about the fact that more babies die of SIDS and more likely so in a crib. They don't talk about the surrounding factors, was mom a heavy sleeper, what position where they in, had she been drinking, was it SIDS? There are SO many factors. Babies lives have been saved by Co sleeping. This seems very biased.
