Babywearing Wrap Tutorial- How to Wrap a Newborn in a Moby Wrap
Babywearing is a great way to keep your baby close and secure while still allowing you to be hands-free. It is also a great way to bond with your baby and provide them with the comfort and security they need. One of the most popular babywearing wraps is the Moby Wrap, which is designed to be comfortable and secure for both you and your baby. In this tutorial, we will show you how to wrap a newborn in a Moby Wrap.
Step 1: Choose the Right Size Moby Wrap
The first step in wrapping a newborn in a Moby Wrap is to choose the right size. Moby Wraps come in two sizes: Original and Toddler. The Original size is designed for babies up to 35 pounds, while the Toddler size is designed for babies up to 45 pounds. If you are unsure which size to choose, it is best to go with the Original size as it will provide the most support for your newborn.
Step 2: Prepare the Moby Wrap
Once you have chosen the right size Moby Wrap, it is time to prepare it for use. Start by laying the Moby Wrap out on a flat surface. Make sure that the fabric is not twisted or bunched up. Then, spread the fabric out evenly and make sure that the edges are even.
Step 3: Place the Baby in the Moby Wrap
Now that the Moby Wrap is ready, it is time to place your baby in it. Start by placing your baby in the center of the Moby Wrap. Make sure that their head is supported and that their chin is not tucked into their chest. Then, wrap the fabric around your baby, making sure that it is snug but not too tight.
Step 4: Secure the Moby Wrap
Once your baby is securely in the Moby Wrap, it is time to secure it. Start by tying the fabric in a knot at the center of your baby’s back. Then, tie the fabric in a knot at the center of your baby’s chest. Finally, tie the fabric in a knot at the center of your baby’s hips.
Step 5: Adjust the Moby Wrap
Once the Moby Wrap is securely tied, it is time to adjust it. Start by adjusting the fabric so that it is snug but not too tight. Make sure that your baby’s head is supported and that their chin is not tucked into their chest. Then, adjust the fabric so that it is evenly distributed around your baby.
Step 6: Enjoy the Benefits of Babywearing
Once your baby is securely wrapped in the Moby Wrap, you can enjoy the benefits of babywearing. Babywearing can help to promote bonding between you and your baby, as well as provide them with the comfort and security they need. It can also help to free up your hands so that you can get things done while still keeping your baby close.

I just want to thank you so much! I’ve been trying to find a comfortable style to wear my money wrap! And this one worked so good for me and he isn’t so squished or lopsided like when I use the mint instructions 😂
Will this work with my 3 months old ?

You're the only other mom I've seen that has a son named Titus😂Mine is 4 now!!!
How many months until they get uncomfortable being squished??
It does the job. Excellent product.
Why title your video how to wrap with Moby when you're not using a Moby?
This is a good method. Thanks
Thanks for the vid 😀
I'm actually looking at this because I have a kitten who won't let me put it down or go anywhere without him. So I'm gonna cut up an old sheet and do this so I can keep on doing stuff
This was perfect, thank you!
I'm using my teddy bear as practice 😂😭 now I'm excited and crying

I’m sorry I was too impatient to listen to you explain a whole story , I had to fast forward to get straight to the point 🥲🥲🥲
Great video. Quick and to the point. This really helped me
No matter how many times I watch this it’s so hard for me 😢😢
That was so helpful…
Can I do this with certain fabrics if I don't have access to the product? And what kind?
Oh my gosh. The way you showed it was so easy. Been struggling for weeks and baby girl never seemed happy, ended up soothing her to sleep in her pod and never getting much done myself. Managed this first time and she is sleeping away so nicely 🥰
How mesure your sling
Could i be doing something wrong?? My daughter is 1 month old and fusses a lot when shes set down during naps, so i though a wrap would be perfect… i put her in and she screams bloody murder… im making sure shes not squished against me but also making sure shes not going to fall out, i have her head in or out but for her it doesn’t make a difference. I watch her feet maybe somethings not right but i can’t figure out whats wrong.
This video is great. I've been looking for a good soft wrap
This makes a lot of sense I’ve seen other tutorials and tried them but my back just ended up hurting alot and my newborn isn’t that heavy
Have a 4 week, almost 5 week old who is very fussy about naps unless held, we tried our wrap today using your tutorial and he was out like a light in no time XD
Loved it, I've been struggling
This actually pissed me off with how long she dragged it out wanted the full 10 min just for extra cash on the video 🤣🤣🤣
To much talking man ffs just show us how to tie and put baby in 🤣
I love the idea of keeping my baby close and being hands free. However, my 2 week old baby boy won’t settle at all in the Moby wrap. I’ll keep trying but I’ll probably just donate those wraps to someone who’ll use them.
